The once-Formula One designer, Paul Brown, has given the fast car enthusiast the Ascari A10. It was originally conceived by the millionaire, Klass Zwart, a Dutchman with an interest in fast and beautiful things, and is built by the Ascari Company, a British car company that decided to strip out luxuries like a stereo and interior linings to make a superfast car. What resulted is a two-door coupe that can go from 0 to 220 miles per hour in seconds (0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and 0 to 100 mph in 10.8 seconds to be exact.)
The Ascari A10 price is comparable to many other super cars in its class, at around $650,000 US dollars it’s not the most expensive car in the world but it’s not cheap either. It is a beautifully styled car with a body that looks much like a tricked-out Corvette or Ferrari. It takes its engine from the BMW, a 5.0 litre V8. It has a carbon-fiber chassis like the KZ1and the Ascari A10 specs can take any super car for a ride on the open road, with Koenigsegg speed, but a hundred times more handling. Top Gear magazine called it a ‘staggering car.’ You can take the Ascari A10 to the Ascari Race Resort in Spain and put pedal to the metal in one of the most gorgeous natural settings on the planet, and show off one of the fastest cars in the world while you take in the sites.
As far as fast cars go, the Ascari A10 top speed is comparable with other cars in its class. At a top of 220 mph and rising, it compares to the Gumpert Apollo (top speed 224 mph), Noble M660 (top speed 223 mph), and Lamborghini Aventador (top speed 217 mph). The Ascari A10 is not in contention for the top ten fastest cars in the world, due to the Veyron and Koenigsegg Agera R’s latest achievements, but it holds its own with other super cars and boasts superior handling compared to the top three.
It is still one of the fastest street legal cars in the world and a taste of British genius. The company is the legacy of Alberto Ascari, the first double winning world Formula One champion. Aside from the Ascari, the British car maker built the Ascari AZ1, the Ascari Ecosse, the A410 and the KZ1R. The A10 is by far, their fastest car to date.
Why not head to Europe for a car-buying excursion? You can purchase your Ascari in Banbury, UK or Oxfordshire, England then head to southern Spain to the company’s race track to take your new wheels for a quick spin. The Ascari A10 is truly an amazing car.

Ascari are an amazing company, I love the way small previously unheard companies from places like Banbury can produce things like this.
The Ascari A10 is indeed a fast and beautiful thing. Ascari makes awesome cars but the A10 is one of my personal favorites. With style and performance like this what more could you ask for?
Once upon a time, I was in Banbury of Banbury Cross fame. I thought it was something out of a Mother Goose nursery rhyme. Little did I know that many years later it would be the place I found my dream car — the Ascari A10. Picture me, instead of going to Banbury to see a fine lady upon a white horse, I’m going to get my car, cross the Channel, and head to Spain to drive it on the racetrack there. Thanks for the suggestion here! Am I dreaming or what?
I have to be honest, I’ve never even heard of an Ascari. $650K – ouch out of my league. The car is pretty cool looking though, and super fast. I would love a sweet ride like this. Ascari is a small company? That makes it even better!
I love the bumblebee yellow and black colors on this particular Ascari A10 car. Even if it weren’t one of the fastest cars in the world, it’s one hot car. I’d love to tour Europe in it.
It really is a neat little car. Looks great in yellow. Love the name too – has a nice ring to it, plus it’s a name I’m more likely to remember as I don’t do very well with long car names!
I am not taken with the yellow and black bumblebee paint job but I do like the overall design of the Ascari A10. It has a retro feel to it, with the stripes and detailing. Kind of throw back to the early days of muscle cars.
